Hi, I'm Himanshi.
"Good design shouldn't shout — it should whisper. The best interfaces are the ones you stop noticing because they get out of your way."
Who I am
I'm a UX designer with 3+ years of experience building scalable, data-driven products. I came into design through code — I spent five months as a backend developer before realising the part I loved was the seam between the system and the human using it. That dual lens shows up in my work: I think in components, but I design for the messy edges where real people live.
Today I lead end-to-end design at Dancing Numbers — research, IA, flows, hi-fi, design QA, and the design system that holds it all together.
What I do
I design for SaaS and data-heavy interfaces — the kind of products where users come to get a job done, not to be entertained. That means tight workflows, sensible defaults, and screens that respect your attention. I work closely with PMs and engineers; I prototype to make trade-offs visible early; I obsess about empty states.
Recent wins: reduced onboarding drop-offs 25% through flow optimisation, lifted daily active users 15% with a dashboard redesign, and cut design hand-off friction 20% by rebuilding the team's component library.
Off the clock
You'll find me hunting for coffee shops that get the foam right, re-organising my Figma libraries for the third time this week, or on a slow train somewhere in the hills. I keep a running list of tiny UX details I love — receipts, transit cards, museum signage — and study them like other people study films.
Experience
Collaborate daily with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex accounting workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces. Rebuilt the company's website from scratch — restructuring navigation, elevating conversion-focused CTAs, and redesigning the homepage around three distinct user segments (accountants, small business owners, e-commerce businesses).
Established and maintain the team's component library in Figma — covering reusable UI patterns, spacing tokens, and interaction states — reducing design-to-development friction significantly. Also responsible for user testing, gathering feedback, and iterating rapidly based on data.
As a UI/UX designer, led end-to-end design for 10+ B2B and B2C digital products — including EV fleet management dashboards, data-heavy SaaS interfaces, and mobile applications. Conducted user research, created personas and journey maps, and translated insights directly into wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma and Adobe XD.
Built and maintained scalable UI component libraries to ensure visual consistency across multiple products. Worked closely with cross-functional teams to run usability tests, gather feedback, and continuously iterate on designs — reducing onboarding drop-offs and improving daily active usage metrics across key products.

Agile Ventures — Website Redesign
Redesigned the corporate website for Agile Ventures Pvt. Ltd. — a Gurugram-based diversified business group. The goal was to modernise their digital presence, establish credibility across their multiple verticals, and make it easy for partners and clients to understand who they are and what they do.
Role
End-to-end UX/UI — research, IA, wireframes, visual design, prototype
Problem
The existing site didn't reflect the scale or credibility of the organisation. Navigation was unclear, the visual language was outdated, and the multiple business verticals had no coherent story tying them together.
Process
Audited the existing site and 5 competitor corporate sites. Ran stakeholder interviews to map business goals per vertical. Restructured the IA to lead with clarity — one clear homepage story, then individual vertical pages. Designed a clean, professional visual system in Figma and built an interactive prototype for sign-off.
Dancing Numbers — SaaS Website Redesign
Redesigned the website for Dancing Numbers — a QuickBooks automation SaaS trusted by 50,000+ accountants and bookkeepers across the USA. The challenge was translating a feature-heavy product into a website that communicates value instantly and drives free trial sign-ups without overwhelming first-time visitors.
Role
UI/UX Designer — working in-house as part of the Dancing Numbers product team. Responsible for end-to-end design: audit, IA, wireframes, visual UI, and developer handoff.
Problem
The existing site had deep, overlapping navigation across Services, Products, and Resources — making it hard for a first-time visitor to understand what Dancing Numbers actually does and why they should try it. The free trial CTA was buried, and the page structure didn't prioritise the core product value proposition.
Process
Audited the existing site across all key user journeys (accountant, small business owner, e-commerce). Ran a heuristic evaluation and mapped drop-off points. Rebuilt the IA around three audience segments with a clear homepage story: what it does → who it's for → why it works → start free trial. Designed new page layouts in Figma with a stronger visual hierarchy, cleaner typography, and prominent CTAs.
Sleepsia — D2C E-commerce Redesign
Redesigned the Shopify storefront for Sleepsia India — a Gurgaon-based D2C brand selling memory foam pillows, bedsheets, and sleep accessories. The brand sells across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit, and Nykaa. The challenge was bringing the same trust and clarity to the owned website that the marketplace listings enjoy, and converting first-time visitors into buyers.
Role
UI/UX Designer — end-to-end: audit, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, mobile-first design, and Shopify theme handoff.
Problem
The existing site had a cluttered homepage with competing banners, a navigation with 7+ top-level categories and deeply nested sub-menus, and product pages that buried key trust signals (reviews, certifications, pain-relief benefits) below the fold. On mobile — where most Indian D2C traffic lands — the experience broke down significantly.
Process
Audited the existing site across homepage, category, and product pages. Mapped the customer's mental model: they arrive with a specific pain point (neck pain, back pain, pregnancy) not a product name. Rebuilt navigation around health concerns rather than product types. Redesigned the homepage to lead with the core promise and social proof. Rebuilt product pages to surface reviews, certifications, and the right-pillow-for-you content above the fold. Designed with a mobile-first approach throughout — Sleepsia's audience primarily shops on phones.
Sleepsia Lounge — Women's Nightwear D2C
Designed the Shopify storefront for Sleepsia Lounge — a premium women's nightwear brand from the Sleepsia family, based in Gurugram. Satin pyjama sets, co-ord loungewear, and sleep shirts designed for comfort and everyday elegance. The brief: create a digital experience that feels as soft and considered as the product itself.
Role
UI/UX Designer — brand direction, visual design, UX flows, Shopify theme design, mobile-first layout, and content strategy.
Problem
Sleepsia Lounge was a new sub-brand launching under the Sleepsia umbrella. Unlike the parent brand (which sells on pain relief and function), Lounge needed an entirely different emotional register — soft, aspirational, lifestyle-led. The site had to feel like a boutique, not a marketplace listing. Most customers would arrive via Instagram on their phones, so the mobile experience was the primary canvas.
Process
Started with a mood and brand positioning exercise — defining the visual world of the brand before touching a single screen. Studied how premium Indian D2C fashion brands (Clovia, Zivame, Libas) build trust on mobile. Designed a homepage built around lifestyle imagery, the brand story ("More Than Nightwear — It's a Mood"), and a clear shop-by-style flow. Product pages led with fabric feel and styling context, with size and material details surfaced clearly. Cart and checkout optimised for one-thumb mobile use.
Quality Engineering CA — B2B Consulting Website
Redesigned the website for a Canadian quality consulting firm — a division of ISO Certification Consultants Inc., based in Toronto. The firm provides expert PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949 and Lean Six Sigma consulting to manufacturers including Fortune 500 clients like Ford, Magna, and Samsung.
Role
UI/UX Designer — audit, IA restructure, wireframes, visual design, WordPress handoff.
Problem
The site needed to convey deep technical credibility to quality managers and procurement heads at manufacturing companies, while remaining approachable enough to convert a first-time visitor into a phone call or contact form submission.
Process
Mapped the buyer journey for a B2B consulting audience. Structured the homepage around trust signals — client logos (Ford, Magna, Samsung), credentials, and a direct "call us" CTA. Designed service pages with clear scope, FAQs, and transparent pricing approach. Kept the visual design professional and restrained to match the sector's expectations.
GOPT World — Healthcare Pain Management App
Designed the UI for GOPT — a healthcare web app that lets patients identify pain areas on an interactive 3D anatomy model, select symptom severity, and submit enquiries directly to doctors. Doctors then review, prescribe, and share reference videos via email — a seamless async consultation flow.
Role
UI/UX Designer — user flows, interaction design, hi-fi UI, Figma prototype.
Problem
Describing pain to a doctor is inherently imprecise with text or dropdowns. The app needed an interface that allowed patients of varying digital literacy to pinpoint exactly where it hurts, how badly, and submit that clearly — without any clinical jargon.
Process
Designed the patient-side flow around the 3D anatomy model as the primary input — tap to select, slider for severity, then confirm and submit. Kept form fields to a minimum. Designed the doctor-side review dashboard to surface patient submissions clearly, with quick-reply and video-link fields. Validated the flow with a clickable Figma prototype.
AccountsPro — Accounting & Bookkeeping Website
Redesigned the website for AccountsPro — a New York-based accounting and bookkeeping services company specialising in QuickBooks and Sage support for US and Canadian businesses. The goal was to build trust fast and convert visitors into booked consultations.
Role
UI/UX Designer — IA, wireframes, visual design, WordPress handoff.
Problem
The existing site listed services without a clear hierarchy, making it hard for a small business owner to quickly understand whether AccountsPro could solve their specific problem — whether that was a QuickBooks error, payroll setup, or a full data migration.
Process
Restructured the IA around service categories (QuickBooks, Sage, Error Resolution, Migration) with clear problem-first language on each page. Designed a homepage that leads with the value promise, surfaces the 24/7 support offer, and directs users to call or chat immediately. Kept the visual design clean and professional to match the accounting sector's tone.
A1 — Medicine E-commerce Mobile App
A mobile UI/UX project exploring an e-commerce experience for medicine delivery — covering product browsing, referral flows, and checkout. Designed from wireframe to high-fidelity in Figma with a focus on clarity, trust, and ease of use for health-sensitive purchases.
Role
UI/UX Designer — wireframes, hi-fi screens, interaction design, Figma prototype.
Problem
Medicine e-commerce requires a higher level of trust and clarity than typical retail apps — users need to feel confident they're ordering the right product, from a legitimate source, with a simple repeat-purchase flow.
Process
Started with low-fidelity wireframes to map the core flows — browse, search, product detail, referral, and checkout. Iterated to high-fidelity with a clean, medical-adjacent visual language. The referral flow was designed to be frictionless — share in one tap, reward shown immediately on return.
Rajasthan Tourism — UI/UX Concept
A UI/UX concept for a Rajasthan Tourism digital experience — exploring how one of India's most iconic travel destinations could present itself online. Rich cultural heritage, bold colours, and layered information architecture, all balanced with an intuitive itinerary and booking flow.
Role
UI/UX Designer — concept, visual design, IA, hi-fi prototype in Figma.
Problem
Government tourism sites often suffer from a mismatch between the richness of the destination and the flatness of the digital experience. Rajasthan — palaces, deserts, festivals, heritage hotels — deserved a UI that matched its visual drama while remaining easy to navigate for a first-time visitor planning a trip.
Process
Drew from Rajasthan's visual identity — terracotta, gold, indigo — to build a design language that felt immersive and editorial. Mapped the tourist journey from discovery through itinerary building and booking. Designed for both the cultural explorer and the quick weekend tripper, with content filtering by region, theme, and budget.
Wallet Z — Fintech Mobile App UI
A fintech mobile wallet UI concept — designed for a generation that wants to send money, split bills, and track spending without ever opening a bank app. Clean, modern, and built around the actions users actually do every day.
Role
UI/UX Designer — visual design, interaction design, hi-fi screens, Figma prototype.
Problem
Most wallet apps feel like scaled-down banking interfaces — dense, anxiety-inducing, and full of features the user didn't ask for. Wallet Z needed to feel lightweight, trustworthy, and genuinely effortless for everyday transactions.
Process
Designed around the three daily jobs: send, receive, and check balance. Surfaced recent contacts front and centre. Used a dark, high-contrast visual language that felt premium without feeling intimidating. Kept navigation shallow — everything reachable in two taps or fewer.
Pawly — Pet Care Mobile App
A mobile app UI concept for Pawly — a pet care companion that helps owners manage vet appointments, track vaccinations, set feeding reminders, and connect with a local pet community. Designed to feel warm, playful, and genuinely useful for pet parents.
Role
UI/UX Designer — concept, brand-aligned visual design, user flows, hi-fi Figma prototype.
Problem
Pet care apps tend to be either too clinical (vet record trackers) or too social (pet Instagram). Pawly needed to sit in between — functional enough to be genuinely helpful for a busy pet owner, warm enough to feel like a companion rather than a tool.
Process
Designed around four core pet-parent jobs: care (feeding/medication reminders), health (vet visits, vaccination records), community (local pet owners, lost & found), and shop (food, accessories). Used a warm colour palette and illustrative UI elements to keep the tone playful without sacrificing clarity.
DreamTeam — Real Estate UI
A real estate UI concept for DreamTeam — a property discovery and agent matching platform. Designed to make finding a home feel less overwhelming and more human — with smart filters, rich property cards, and a seamless agent connection flow.
Role
UI/UX Designer — concept, visual design, user flows, hi-fi screens, Figma prototype.
Problem
Real estate apps overwhelm users with listings before they've had a chance to define what they actually want. DreamTeam needed a flow that helped buyers narrow down with confidence — and then connect with the right agent at exactly the right moment.
Process
Started with a preference quiz to surface relevant listings — fewer, better-matched results rather than hundreds of scroll-worthy cards. Designed property detail pages around what buyers actually want to know first: price, commute, neighbourhood feel, and honest photos. Agent profiles built for trust — reviews, specialisation, response time visible upfront.
